The core aim of this special issue of Istanbul University Journal of the School of Business Administration is to reflect the recent developments and to examine research issues concerned with financial analysis and mathematical theory at the strategic, tactical and operational level of risk management.

We seek papers that present new research contributions to the theory and applications of risk management and papers that are of broad interest to both research communities of business and mathematics.
